I would like to highlight my child's teacher Ms. Kelly.

My 11 year old daughter is in her second year at Red Bridge Montessori, and loves Ms. Kelly dearly. Moving to a new school is a big decision, and she wanted to make sure our daughter felt confident and welcomed. When we were considering coming to Red Bridge, Ms. Kelly made a play date with her daughters. It was really nice to get to know them, and gave us a great impression of the school. It is clear she is thriving in her classroom. She talks about learning new things all the time, and is happier communicating her feelings.

We are absolutely loving our hybrid homeschooling experience with the elementary program at Red Bridge Montessori House! For the past two years, my 9-year-old daughter has been attending part-time, and it has been a wonderful fit for our family. Ms. Jamie, the school director, is incredibly supportive and open to flexible options that align with our educational goals. The teachers do a fantastic job applying Montessori principles, allowing my daughter to progress at her own pace in each subject.

Beyond academics, she thrives in the mixed-age elementary group, enjoying music, PE, cooking, art, and field trips—truly enriching experiences for her. As an athletic child with a passion for multiple sports, a full-time school schedule would make it challenging to balance her activities. Our homeschooling days give us the flexibility to include private lessons like piano and horseback riding, and they also allow me to teach her reading and math in my native language.

We are so grateful for Red Bridge’s flexibility and dedication to individualized education—it has been a perfect blend of structure and freedom for our family!

Choosing Red Bridge Montessori House was the best decision for my daughter. Teachers are very dedicated, enthusiastic and passionate. My daughter is thriving and excited to go to school each day. She has become much more confident, independent, and creative.

She recently had a birthday and was celebrated at school (the Montessori way) with a walk around the sun. It was touching to see the care involved in celebrating my child’s life.

Free range children make the best eggs, and this is why I choose to enroll my child at Red Bridge Montessori House. In my years as an educator, I have worked as a high school English teacher for Philadelphia Public Schools while completing my teaching degree at Temple University, a child development specialist at Ft. Belvior’s Child Development Center for the DOD, a special education elementary school teacher for Fairfax County Public Schools, as well as a middle school English teacher for Fairfax County Public schools teaching all levels including Advanced Academics Program. After years of working with diverse populations of students ranging in abilities, backgrounds, socioeconomic levels, interests, etc., I have learned that no child is the same, but they all need a safe space to be curious and take risks, learning opportunities that allow choice and encourage the student to incorporate their interests and ideas, real world experiences that foster independence, and fresh air. Red Bridge Montessori House upholds these beliefs and provides the perfect place for children to learn, grow, and thrive.
