What is Practical Life?
This child's work is from an area in our Primary Classroom called Practical Life. The sweeping activity is perfect for the 3 year old who is learning how to sweep and pick up using her hands with careful focus.
This activity is part of Care of the Environment. These activities help children learn to keep their classroom clean.
There is also Care of Self, with many activities that teach children to do things to become personally independent.
